The Coast Guard Auxiliary is a civilian, uniformed, all-volunteer component of the U.S. Coast Guard.  Auxiliarists perform virtually all missions of the Active Coast Guard except for direct law enforcement and the use of arms.  The Auxiliary is a force multiplier to augment active missions besides performing the traditional role in promoting Recreational Boating Safety.

Join The Auxiliary
The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is the uniformed volunteer component of the United States Coast Guard. Created by an Act of Congress in 1939, the Auxiliary directly supports the Coast Guard in all missions, except military and law enforcement actions.

On the Water Safety Patrols
Members who are qualified as Coxswain and Crew patrol local waters.  Member training is a big part of what we do.
